Dr. Philip D. Langerman received his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration from Iowa State University in 1968. For over four decades, he dedicated his life in promoting higher education; He served as vice president/dean of four colleges and universities. These leadership positions highlight his experience and abilities.

Dr. Langerman is not only a dedicated educator, but also a successful business man. Now he is president and CEO of  ADAM Business Group. Dr. Langerman is also a sport fan, he is an avid Chicago Cubs fan in baseball and Chicago Bears fan in Professional Football NFL. The largest fish he caught in Alaska was about 6 foot tall and 120 pounds, it was a Halibut.

Dr. Langerman’s travels take him around the world while concentrating on Southeast Asia, his has established a global business network, from North America to Europe, from Asia to Africa. Through international travel experience and business connections, Dr. Langerman has had the opportunities to meet many international students who wish to pursue a university education in the US but are strapped financially. In order to help as many international students as possible to reach their educational and professional goals in the US. Dr. Langerman and his colleagues at ADAM Business Group established Adam Scholarship Program to offer generous international scholarships through Teikyo Loretto Heights University, which will provide additional substantial amount of financial aid package for international students.

Adam Scholarship is funded not by capital saving left by the founders, but by a special active business account established for that purpose. Consequently, the Adam Scholarship can be provided partially on non-competitive base. The projected total funding for each student will roughly be US$4,300 in the first year. The amount of the funding for the remaining year largely depends on the GPA of individual student.

Additional Package Financial Aid, which is the combination PAID Business Internships (roughly income ranges from US$8,000 to $16,000 per year), On-campus Employment Opportunity and $2400 Room and Board Allowance, will be offered through this unique program.

Extra $500 multi-culture scholarship is offered for all the international students who are the first time coming to the US.
